First Day Complete returns for fall 2025 at reduced cost

The WVU Bookstore’s First Day Complete program returns for the fall 2025 semester at a reduced cost to provide all undergraduate students with their required course materials at a low, flat-rate price.

The cost of First Day Complete, which is now $345 per semester for full-time undergraduate students (down from $360) and $161 per semester for part-time undergraduate students (down from $168), will automatically be added to students’ fall semester charges.

The program provides undergraduate students with a lower-cost, lower-stress approach to obtaining required textbooks and other course materials, including lab manuals, access codes and digital textbooks, provided on a rental basis. First Day Complete is only available to undergraduate students; graduate and professional students are responsible for purchasing their required course materials.

Beginning July 11, undergraduate students will receive emails to their MIX email accounts with full information on the First Day Complete program, including instructions on finalizing their order and selecting their delivery preference (pick-up or delivery) for their course materials.

If a student finds a more cost-effective route after comparing the cost of the program to the cost of individually purchasing each required book, students may choose to opt out of First Day Complete from July 11 through August 30 at 11:59 p.m. EST. The opt-out link will become available online on July 11.
