Well-being Adventure Series

A unique collaboration between Adventure WV and The Carruth Center,  Well-being Adventure Series is designed to help students explore new interests, enhance their well-being and forge meaningful connections through a range of immersive experiences tailored to support students' mental, physical and social health.

The Well-being Adventure Series includes three distinct program types, each offering a blend of social connection and wellness-focused curriculum:

Community and Convos
These shorter programs foster discussions about well-being within a relaxed group setting, all while engaging in leisurely activities. Participants are encouraged to share their thoughts, experiences, and insights into their well-being, creating a supportive community atmosphere.

Getaway and Grow
For those seeking a more in-depth experience, these longer programs challenge both the mind and body through outdoor activities paired with thoughtful conversations. Perfect for students who find growth and fulfillment in learning new things and engaging in meaningful dialogue, these programs are designed to promote overall well-being.

Path to Purpose
This semester-long, weekly program uses positive psychotherapy and therapeutic adventure to enhance well-being, build strengths, and improve relationships. Participants will engage in nature therapy, mutual support, and weekly activities that foster greater enjoyment and optimism.

The Well-being Adventure Series is free for all participants. A $10 refundable payment is required at the time of registration, which will be fully refunded upon attendance. For students facing financial barriers, reach out to AWVGuidedTrips@mail.wvu.edu.
