Every spring the Pre-Health Professional Development Office offers their Application Prep Program for any student or alum preparing to application to a graduate health professional program in an upcoming cycle.
The program focuses on self-assessment of preparedness, application material feedback, and interviewing practice. Participants will submit a GPA calculator, mock application, and personal statement for review. The Pre-Health Office will provide feedback on application materials and will schedule a mock interview to help prepare students for graduate school interviews.
In addition to application support, this process includes our Letter Packet Service for students applying to medical, dental, or optometry programs.
Please encourage students to take advantage of this program to better prepare for a successful application cycle. The national acceptance rate for medical school is around 40% - this program has a roughly 70% acceptance rate for students who participate.
The deadline to participate is February 28! Act now to work with the office this semester.
