Attendees will learn what to expect and how to prepare for professional work and graduate admissions interviews, both in-person and virtually from

Personal Statement Writing 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. March 4 in Ming Hsieh Hall, Room 126

Attendees will learn how to develop a well-written personal statement for health professional schools (e.g. Medical, Dental, PA, PT, Nursing, etc.). We will also cover the difference between a personal statement, statement of purpose, and a diversity statement. This workshop is recommended for students who are beginning their application to health professional programs in 2025.

Resume Building 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. March 10 in Health Science North, Room 1905

Attendees will learn how to create an effective resume or improve the one they already have. This workshop teaches students how to prepare a professional resume to use for graduate school applications, letter of recommendation requests, work or research positions, and more.
