Students reminded of mandatory international travel registration

International students on F-1 and J-1 student visas are also reminded to request a travel signature at least one month prior to any travel outside of the United States. 

Regulations require a student’s I-20/DS-2019 be endorsed by a designated school official/authorized representative organization to ensure the student is in good standing prior to reentering the United States. 

Register all travel at least six weeks prior to travel to ensure proper time for screening.

All faculty or staff who are traveling internationally for a University-related purpose or taking University-owned equipment or personal equipment with University programs, including email, abroad on personal travel.

Register all travel at least six weeks prior to travel to ensure proper time for screening. 

When completing the travel registration, all employees must provide the information needed to help ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations. The information also provides employees with access to international service and support provided by International SOS, as well as University-sponsored health and emergency evacuation insurance coverage. 

International SOS is the University’s international safety and security provider.
