Orientation Leaders will represent WVU at New Student Orientation throughout the summer months by assisting prospective students and their families during day-long orientation sessions by sharing information about resources and services on campus, providing excellent customer service and showcasing the WVU campus and its community.
Leaders will participate in various tasks throughout each day including, but not limited to, welcoming participants, talking with students one-on-one, answering questions about the University, leading group discussions and activities, and more.
Leaders should be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about WVU, have excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
Orientation Leaders will be contracted to work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday from May 21-June 30, as well as July 7 and July 11. There is also a one-day August Orientation.
Pay is $11 an hour, plus free breakfast and lunch during work days.
