'It Starts Here:' School of Public Health to celebrate National Public Health Week April 7-12

The School of Public Health encourages everyone to join in with students, faculty and staff to celebrate with a series of events, April 7-12, focused on advocacy and community engagement. All events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.

Celebrating 30 years, National Public Health Week is observed each year during the first full week of April to recognize the contributions of public health and highlight issues that are important to improving our nation's health. 

This year’s American Public Health Association campaign, “It Starts Here: Your Health is our Mission,” emphasizes the importance of health at every level ensuring all individuals have the opportunity to thrive.
