On Monday, March 31 and Tuesday April 1, the Higher Education Learning Commission will be on WVU’s Morgantown campus for its 10-year reaffirmation of accreditation site visit.

Site team members will be hosting a series of public forums aimed at different campus audiences, and faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in the appropriate session(s) to demonstrate their pride in the institution and investment in the accreditation process.

All sessions will be held at the Erickson Alumni Center:

Monday, March 31

  • 2 to 2:45 p.m. — Undergraduate Student Forum, Salon B
  • 4 to 4:45 p.m. — Graduate Student Forum, Salon C

Tuesday, April 1

  • 11 to 11:45 a.m. — Open Campus Forum, Salon C

The sessions will give attendees an opportunity to provide general feedback regarding their WVU experience and discuss specific topics related to the five criteria of the HLC self-study report.

  • Mission

  • Integrity —  Ethical and responsible conduct

  • Teaching and Learning — Quality, resources and support

  • Teaching and Learning — Evaluation and improvement
