The "Diversity No Matter What" initiative is focused on creating a small cohort of WVU graduate students to be involved in peer support through the spring 2024 semester.
This initiative, led by the WVU LGBTQ+ Center and funded by the West Virginia Higher
Education Policy Commission, aims to promote the retention and graduation rates of graduate
students through community building.
The Diversity No Matter What: LGBTQ+ Office Graduate Students Cohort will support and empower graduate students who are committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion within the LGBTQ+ community and beyond.

Black and Brown LGBTQ+ students are strongly encouraged to apply.
The cohort is open to all WVU graduate students with a strong interest in LGBTQ+ issues and advocacy.
