Morgantown Community Orchestra's 'It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year' Concert (Dec. 7)

The Morgantown Community Orchestra, represented by numerous students of the WVU community, and supported by the WVU School of Music's Community Music Program, will present its Winter Concert, "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," on Saturday, December 7. In cooperation with St Francis Church, the 7:30 p.m. concert is free and open to the public and will be held at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1 Guthrie Lane, in Morgantown.

The Orchestra, under the direction of Andre Januario, is a group of area amateur and professional musicians, college students, middle school and high school students, who rehearse once a week to share their love of music-making. The Orchestra will feature works by Handel, Brahms, Bartok, Borodin, Rutter, and more. The Orchestra will also be joined by the Women's Chorus of West Virginia University's School of Music.
