WVU Core Arboretum Spring Flower Festival happens this Saturday
April 16, 2026
Come to WVU Core Arboretum for our ninth annual Spring Flower Festival on Saturday, April 18, from 2-6 p.m.! This family-friendly, free event is open to everyone and will showcase the beautiful spring ephemeral wildflower display that happens every year in the Arboretum’s old-growth forest preserve.
We will have a self-guided wildflower tour, live music, food trucks in the parking lot, and other fun activities. These flowers only last a couple weeks every year, so catch them while they’re out! You can learn more about the spring ephemeral wildflowers at the Festival or on the WVU Core Arboretum website.
