WVU’s online Winter Intersession is a fast, flexible way to earn up to five credits in just three weeks. The condensed term runs from December 22, 2025, to January 8, 2026, and features fully online, asynchronous courses you can take from wherever you are this Winter Recess.
Whether you want to stay on track, get ahead, or explore a new subject, Winter Intersession offers a wide range of options to match your goals and interests. You’ll find courses that help fulfill degree requirements, build practical skills, and spark curiosity — from AI and Excel to global sustainability, Hollywood history, and video games through a human rights lens.
