Utilize free Amazon Lockers on campus for holiday shopping
December 1, 2025
As we head into the holiday shopping season, don’t forget that Amazon Lockers are available across campus for convenient Amazon package pick-up.
These lockers let you pick up your Amazon packages any time through secure, self-service kiosks in Braxton Tower, Summit Hall, or the Mountainlair.
Amazon Lockers can be especially helpful if you live somewhere where packages can’t be stored in a mailroom or if you can’t make it to your mailroom’s office hours (or if you need to hide a surprise holiday gift from someone who lives with you!).
To use this pick-up option:
- Select the locker location you’d like to use at Amazon.com checkout.
- Confirm you can access the area where the locker is located. Pick-up locations aren’t accessible to everyone 24/7. Non-residents cannot enter residence halls (including Braxton Tower and Summit Hall) from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily unless accompanied by a resident, and residence halls are closed during University breaks. For access to the Mountainlair lockers, refer to the Mountainlair hours of operation online.
- You’ll get a notification from Amazon that your package is ready for pick-up.
- Pick up your package at the right location.
For any questions, contact the WVU Mail Services program manager, Ivia Hensley, at Ivia.Hensley@mail.wvu.edu.
