Taking ROOT: a Self-Care Panel

In honor of October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month, students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend Taking ROOT: Restore, Offer Grace, Open to Healing, Trust Your Journey, a one-hour panel focused on self-care and healing after experiences of sexual assault, dating violence, or domestic violence. The event, hosted by the Office of Compliance and Prevention Education, creates a supportive space for survivors and allies to explore what it means to care for themselves, reclaim peace, and trust their individual healing process. Panelists will share trauma-informed insights, practical strategies for wellness, and reminders that self-care is a powerful act of resilience and self-empowerment.

A candlelight vigil will follow from 7 - 8 p.m. in front of Woodburn Hall, weather permitting.
