Since its founding, AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) has empowered more than 260,000 members to support local initiatives addressing poverty across all 50 states and U.S. territories. WVU AmeriCorps VISTA is one of the WVU Center for Community Engagement’s key programs under the Division for Land-Grant Engagement. We offer a full year of service at a WVU-affiliated host site that matches your passions and career goals. VISTA members serve by building the capacity of host sites through indirect service, enabling direct services for the programs to have a greater impact.
