Study Abroad in Spain: Summer 2026

This study abroad program in Spain gives you the opportunity to examine social problems from a global perspective, with a focus on comparing issues in Spain and the United States. The course emphasizes hands-on learning, allowing you to engage directly with real-world social settings to better understand key sociological concepts. Through this immersive experience, you will build intercultural awareness while critically analyzing the similarities and differences between Spanish society and your own. While in Spain, we will explore culture, community, socialization, social interaction, and social institutions, using these concepts to examine contemporary social challenges in a comparative way.
We will visit Madrid, Toledo, Valencia, and Barcelona.
