Students invited to participate in listening sessions for next provost
September 2, 2025
As West Virginia University begins a national search to select the next provost and vice president for academic affairs — the University’s top academic officer — students are invited to inform leaders about their expectations for this position.
The session will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3 in the Vandalia Lounge of the Mountainlair.
Hosted by the Provost Search Committee, students’ input will help Greenwood Asher & Associates, a full-service search firm assisting the University in this search, to recruit and vet candidates based on the qualifications and expectations outlined during these discussions.
