Students attending Focus Forward can apply for two $10,000 innovation grants
February 26, 2026
Students are invited to attend this year’s Focus Forward: Minds and Machines conference on Wednesday, April 1 at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place. Those who attend also will have the opportunity to apply for one of two grants of up to $10,000.
The funding supports projects inspired by conversations at the conference, giving attendees a chance to take an idea sparked during the day and turn it into something real.
This year’s theme looks at how technology is shaping how we think, learn and live. Projects may explore any topic area covered during the conference, from education and workforce to community solutions, or research. The opportunity is intentionally broad and open to collaboration, so students from any major can participate.
