WVU Campus Recreation – Halloween-Themed Group Fitness Classes
Get in the Halloween spirit with WVU Campus Recreation’s themed group fitness classes all week long! Registration opens 24-hours before the start of class. Click here to register.

Halloween Party at Serenity Place

Join us for Halloween crafts, free snacks, a costume contest, and Squishmallow Bingo featuring spooky squishes. All students are welcome.
Alpine Nights: Alpine Tower and Giant Swing
Thursday, October 30 | 6:30 – 10 p.m. | WVU Outdoor Education Center
Experience the high ropes courses under the stars. Take a thrilling ride on the Giant Swing or climb into the nighttime forest on the Alpine Tower.
Cost: $20
Participants under 18 will need a parent or guardian signature.
Nighttime Canopy Tour & Tower/Swing
Friday, October 31 | 5:30 – 10 p.m. | WVU Outdoor Education Center
Enjoy a Halloween night adventure featuring the zipline, Alpine Tower, and Giant Swing. Transportation is included with registration.
Cost: $30
Check-in begins at 5:15 p.m. at the WVU Outdoor Recreation Center.
WVU Men’s Soccer vs. Marshall – Costume Night
Friday, October 31 | 7 p.m. | Dick Dlesk Stadium
Cheer on the Mountaineers as they take on Marshall in a top-25 matchup. The Mountaineer Maniacs are encouraging all students to wear their best Halloween costumes.
Prizes include $100 Amazon gift cards for the best and funniest costumes.
Students must show their WVU Student ID to enter.
WELLWVU Hydration Station
Friday, October 31 | 8 – 11 p.m. | High Street (across from Boreman Hall)
Stop by for water and wellness resources while you’re out celebrating Halloween night.
This event is weather permitting and may be canceled if it is cold or rainy.

WVUp All Night
Friday, October 31 and Saturday, November 1 | 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. | Mountainlair
Celebrate Halloween weekend with two nights of free food, movies, and activities at WVUp All Night! Enjoy TRONsystem laser tag, Halloween-themed crafts with The WOW! Factory, classic spooky movies (“Halloween” and “Hocus Pocus”), and late-night staples like bowling, billiards, VR gaming, and DIY crafts.
Free dinner and breakfast will be served each night, plus snacks, popcorn, and plenty of prizes. All WVU students and their guests (17 and older) are welcome.
