WVU Student Health Services, located at 390 Birch Street in Morgantown, provides a wide range of health and wellness care to help students feel their best and stay focused on their goals. From routine checkups to urgent care, WVU Student Health Services is here to support every Mountaineer.

Services and Hours

Student Health Services offers appointments for acute care, primary care, gynecology, family medicine, travel health and behavioral medicine. An on-site pharmacy makes it easy to fill prescriptions quickly and conveniently.

Appointments are available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The clinic is closed on University holidays and during summer semesters. Students can schedule visits through the MyChart portal, including urgent care video visits for those located in West Virginia at the time of service.

Vaccines and Preventive Care

Student Health Services provides preventive care, including flu and COVID-19 vaccines. Flu shot clinics are held throughout October for students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members.

Payment and Insurance

Most commercial insurance plans are accepted. A copay is due at the time of service. A self-pay option is also available, and Mounty Bounty is accepted.

How to Get Started

  • Register for Student Health Services through the online form.
  • Download the MyChart app or log in to MyWVUChart to schedule appointments and manage your care.
  • Use the Mountain Line bus or PRT to reach the clinic. Limited patient parking is also available.
  • For care after hours, visit a local urgent care facility affiliated with WVU Medicine.
