Doctoral students from the WVU John Chambers College of Business and Economics are warmly invited to learn how to use the Conversation U.S. platform for academic journalism to communicate directly with the public about their research and expertise during a Zoom lunch-and-learn presentation, Tuesday, September 9, 12:30-1:00 p.m.
The Conversation U.S. helps researchers translate their work into stories that enable everyday Americans to make sense of the headlines and the world around them, then brings those stories to thousands of news readers. Micaela Morrissette, director of the WVU Office of Research Communications, will explain The Conversation’s mission and process and tell you how her team helps WVU scholars pitch story ideas.
