Recruiting Adult Women for a Research Project on Social Media

This project is being conducted by Dr. Megan Vendemia, Dr. Alan Goodboy, and Nathaniel Beer in WVU’s Department of Communication Studies in Field Hall, P.O. Box 6293, Morgantown, WV 26506. We are currently recruiting participants for a study examining how people may be affected by social media.

If you are an adult woman (ages 18+), you are eligible to participate in our study.

If you wish to participate, you must complete a brief online survey to determine your eligibility for this study.

If you qualify, you will then be asked to sign up and attend a single in-person session, where you will complete a video recorded task and a questionnaire. This session involves a series of computer-based tasks and an online survey to measure your reactions to the tasks. Your participation will take about 45 minutes. The session will take place in Field Hall on the campus of West Virginia University. Your decision to be in this research is completely voluntary.

You will receive a $25.00 Amazon gift card for your participation at the completion of the study.
