CCE's 2026 Excellence in Community Engagement Award nominations now open

The Center for Community Engagement’s annual Excellence in Community Engagement Awards honor extraordinary accomplishments in engaged learning and community impact. The recognition criteria are founded upon demonstration of the Mountaineer Core Values of Service, Curiosity, Respect, Accountability, and Appreciation.
The awards are given in twelve categories: Cole Unger Excellence in Social Action Award, Undergraduate Student Award for Excellence in Community Engagement, Graduate Student Award for Excellence in Community Engagement, Student Group Award for Excellence in Community Engagement, Faculty Award for Excellence in Community Engagement, Staff Award for Excellence in Community Engagement, Award for Excellence in Service-Learning Instruction, Engaged Scholar Award for Research for Excellence in Community Engagement, Outstanding Community Partner Award, Outstanding Campus Partner Award, National Service Award, and Student-Athlete Award for Excellence in Community Engagement.
Nominations must be submitted by Monday, March 30th and winners will be announced by April 6th.
