2026 Spring Break Campus Service Hours

WVU’s administrative offices will remain open during Spring Break; however, some hours may be adjusted. In case of an on-campus emergency, please call UPD at 304-293-2677. Otherwise, call 911.
WVU Bookstore:
The Downtown Bookstore will be closed March 19-20.
Evansdale Crossing, Law and Health Science Bookstores will be closed March 15 through March 22.
Regular store hours will resume the week of March 23.
Dining Services
Most locations will observe modified hours starting Friday afternoon. All locations will resume normal operations on Monday, March 23.

The Rack: WVU Student Food Pantry
Morgan House Location - Monday-Friday, 8:15 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. (normal hours).
Snack Rack and Snack Rack at Statler
The Snack Rack will be closed during Spring Break. Regular hours will resume on Monday, March 23.
Carruth Center for Counseling and Psychological Services:
The Carruth Center will be open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday March 16 through Friday March 20 and resume normal hours Monday, March 23.
Students experiencing mental health emergencies during Spring Break can access the Urgent/Crisis Clinic during business hours for emergent, same-day, intervention. The afterhours emergency line is available by calling 304-293-4431 (press 1) for immediate support outside of business hours. The Crisis Text Line can also be utilized by texting “WVU” to 741741. Libraries:
WVU’s Libraries will operate on a revised schedule during Spring Break. View the daily hours of operation.
MOUNTAINLAIR BUILDING HOURS:
March 14 : 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
March 15: CLOSED
March 16-20: 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
March 21: CLOSED
March 22: 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.
MOUNTAINLAIR GAMES AREA:
March 14-15: CLOSED
March 16-20: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
March 21: CLOSED
March 22: 3 - 9 p.m.
PRT/Transportation:
The PRT will be closed for service beginning Saturday, March 14 through Sunday, March 22. Regular hours of operation will resume on Monday, March 23.
Mountain Line buses are free to ride with a valid WVU ID.
Student Rec Center:
The WVU Student Recreation Center and the Downtown Fitness Center will operate on reduced hours during Spring Break. The reduced hours of operations can be found here.
WVU Student Health Urgent Care:
WVU Student Health will be closed from March 16 through March 20.
All students who need care may also go to WVU Urgent Care, Suncrest Towne Center 7:45 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. daily.
