2025 Fall Recess Campus Service Hours

The University will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 26 through Saturday, Nov. 29 in observance of Fall Recess. While the University is open Monday, Nov. 24 and Tuesday, Nov. 25, administrative areas’ operating hours may be adjusted since classes are not in session. Please call to confirm hours if you need assistance from an on-campus department.

In the case of an emergency, please call University Police at 304-293-COPS (2677).

PRT

The PRT will not operate the week of Nov. 24 – Nov. 28. It will re-open Saturday, Nov. 29 to accommodate fans attending the WVU football game. Normal hours of operation will resume on Monday, Dec. 1.

Mountainlair

Friday, Nov. 21 – 7am to 11pm (games area: 3pm to 10pm)

Saturday, Nov. 22 – CLOSED

Sunday, Nov. 23 – CLOSED

Monday, Nov. 24 – 7am to 5:30pm (games area: 10am to 4:30pm)

WVU Dining

Libraries

WVU Libaries will operate on a revised schedule during the Fall Recess. For more information, please view their hours of operation.

Carruth Center

Carruth will be open and operate normal hours on Monday, Nov. 24 and Tuesday, Nov. 25. The office will close Wednesday, Nov. 26 through Sunday, Nov. 30. Students needing urgent services outside of business hours can use the after-hours emergency line (304-293-4431) for crisis support. The office will resume normal operating hours on Monday 12/1.

WVU Student Health

WVU Student Health will be closed from Monday, Nov. 24 through Sunday, Nov. 30. Regular hours of operation will resume on Monday, Dec. 1.

All students who need care may go to WVU Urgent Care, Suncrest Towne Center, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. daily, except Thursday, Nov. 27. Students who need emergency assistance should go to the nearest Emergency Room.

Student Recreation Center

The Student Rec Center will operate on adjusted hours from Friday, Nov. 21 through Saturday, November 29.

Nov. 21 – 6 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Nov. 22 – 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Nov. 23 – 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
